Joana Leal is a brasilian graphic designer, living and working in Munich. Currently working as a freelancer, she loves to do art direction, coporate branding, logos, screen design, websites, and design for music.
Joana Leal studied communication design at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC), Brazil. She started her career as a graphic designer at Passaredo Projetos Gráficos where she developed numerous high-end art books and catalogues for major museums and art galleries in Rio. She also designed CD covers for the labels EMI, Sony Music and Biscoito Fino.
From 2002 to 2004, she gained experience as a freelancer in São Paulo, Brazil and Munich, Germany. From 2004 until 2014, she worked for N+P Industrial Design, one of the most renowned design studios in Germany.
Since October 2014 she has been working as a freelancer, and keeps developing outstanding projects in the fields of corporate identity, webdesign and user interface design.
